If you ask people about their favourite TV canine, they are guaranteed to say “Rex”. The German Shepherd of infallible instinct and phenomenal intelligence has won the favour of millions of television viewers thanks to the legendary German-Austrian series Inspector Rex. The title was also extremely popular with the viewers of TV Markíza, and it's now coming to the screens in a Slovak adaptation! The police captain Richard Majer will be portrayed by young actor Juraj Bača, who has won the affection of local audiences with the popular series Búrlivé víno / Wild Wine. The Slovak adaptation of Inspector Rex is based on the original Austrian screenplays, with the plot being set in Bratislava. Rex is a full-time crime fighter, working on difficult and dangerous cases episode by episode.
