Sep 25 2023The 34th edition of the oldest national awards ceremony for audiovisual since 1967 has also honoured our colleagues. Director Peter Bebjak won the award for his film Shadowplay. The television adaptation of the literary classic Jozef Mak brought the award to three - Martin Rau for cinematography, Diana Mórová for her performance as a female protagonist and Dávid Hartl was awarded the creative prize for his performance as a male protagonist.
We Have Never Been Modern Premiere Amazed the Audience
Sep 25 2023Two weeks before its cinema release, the creators – led by the director Matěj Chlupáček - and actors presented the historical crime drama from the the first republic era to the audience in Bratislava. After the screening, the cinema theatres resounded with long-lasting applause and the audience did not hide their enthusiasm for what they had just seen on the big screen. In the following days, the actors presented the film also in Poprad and symbolically in towns with Baťa tradition - in Svit and Partizánske.
Restore Point Presented Vision of Future
Sep 15 2023After the world premiere in South Korea and the European premiere at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, the sci-fi film Restore Point by director Robert Hloz was presented to the audience in Bratislava. Upon leaving the cinema, praise was heard for the film's stylish visuals, focused direction and brilliant performances.
Czech Republic chooses its Oscar nominee
Sep 1 2023Czech academics began selecting their nominee for the Oscars International Feature Film on September 1. Among the twelve contenders for this nomination, there are also three films in which DNA Production has participated: We Have Never Been Modern, Restore Point and All About the Little Things.
